Now, if you’re a student in one of the girls’ schools here in our province’s capital, here’s what’s happening. On regular weekdays (Monday to Thursday), as well as Saturdays, classes will kick off at 8:15 am and go on until 2:15 pm. However, there’s a bit of a treat Fridays are half-days, with classes ending at noon. So, that’s your cue to make those weekend plans a bit earlier.

But hold on, we’re not done. Some schools are pulling double shifts! The first shift starts bright and early at 7:45 am and wraps up at 12:15 pm on regular weekdays and Saturdays. The second shift is for those night owls classes go from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. A long day, but don’t worry, you’ve got the whole morning to catch up on sleep or other activities.

Now, Friday is a bit different for the double shifters too. The first shift starts at 7:45 am and ends at 12:00 pm. Then the second shift takes over, starting at 1:30 pm and going on until 5:30 pm. So, it’s an afternoon shift for the second group on Fridays.

And just in case you’re wondering, these new schedules started on October 16, and they’ll be keeping these timings until April 14, 2024. So, make sure to set your alarms accordingly, and get ready to hit the books!
