The MDCAT Test was rescheduled due to protests by students. Aspiring medical and dental students in Pakistan had been requesting the government to delay the MDCAT, and these requests led to protests. In response to these protests, the caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, announced the relaxation for students and the rescheduling of the MDCAT test to provide them with more time to prepare for the entry test.
